Technical barriers between systems are further reduced with the new ability to search and load legacy EHR data, ensuring a more complete longitudinal record for patients transitioning to the Ottehr platform.
Clinician efficiency is at the forefront of v1.30, featuring a streamlined eRx integration that reduces task clutter, more intelligent pharmacy searches, and quicker navigation via a pinned sidebar during note documentation.
Operational reporting also sees significant upgrades, with new specialized reports for completed visits and patient acquisition insights, alongside enhanced filtering and sorting for invoicing.

Billing and Invoicing

- Added CPT code 99173 ("Screening test of visual acuity") to automatically trigger when a numeric vision test is recorded during intake, ensuring accurate reimbursement for screening services.

- Renamed the "Chief Complaint" text field to "Additional Information" throughout the progress note and exported documents (PDFs, discharge summaries), and removed the requirement to complete this field before signing a visit note.
