Terminology Service - ICD-10-CM Search

  • The Terminology Service now supports searching for ICD-10-CM codes. Besides the ability to search on the codes and their official names, it can also search codes by clinical synonyms derived from SNOMED CT. For example, searching for "shingles" will return the code B02.9. This feature can be enabled by setting the includeSynonyms query parameter to true in the search request. Additionally, the search supports specialty biasing, which can be used to prioritize finding codes commonly diagnosed in specific specialties, such as urgent care.

eRx Service

  • Added an endpoint to get a pharmacy by id. This is useful for looking up pharmacy details when processing a notification about a fulfilled prescription.

RCM Service

  • Added support for sending institutional claims (837i) with the RCM Service.
  • Added support for creating an ERA by importing raw X12 835 files.
