Eligibility checking, Credit card and Revenue cycle management (RCM) additions

This release adds on eligibility checks and credit card collection during patient registration. Other key improvements include enhancements and fixes for patient information validation, enhanced scheduling functionality, and document and note visibility. We have also added end-to-end testing for telemedicine workflows.

Enhancements to Patient Information and Insurance Handling

Improved data accuracy and patient experience by fixing issues with responsible party validation, insurance name fields, and preferred name visibility. Also standardized relationship options and updated gender identity fields.

  • Added validation for responsible party under 18 years old - Users will now see a message when attempting to assign someone under 18 as the responsible party (#1914) (opens in a new tab).
  • Insurance middle name from Patient app now appears correctly in EHR - Fixes gap in patient insurance record population (#1756) (opens in a new tab).
  • Preferred name is now displayed in patient info section - Ensures full identity representation (#1737) (opens in a new tab).
  • Fixed issue with differing responsible party relationship options between Patient app and EHR - Standardized across systems (#1377) (opens in a new tab).
  • Fixed issues related to "Sexual orientation" and "Gender identity" fields - Updates improve clarity and accuracy (#1781) (opens in a new tab).

Improvements to Scheduling and Availability

Resolved issues with provider availability and slot visibility, ensuring schedules reflect accurate opening hours and edits no longer overwrite unrelated settings.

Fixes to Virtual Visit Workflows

Addressed issues that prevented assigning or unassigning Virtual visits, corrected mismatches in visit note behavior, and restored visibility of provider notes during sign-off.

Fixes and Updates to Paperwork, Past Visits, and Patient Communication

Improved patient access to documents and restored functionality for work excuses, automated messaging, and past visit handling, even in edge cases like new devices or unclicked buttons.

Enhancements to EHR Document Handling and Consent Flows

Restored visibility of previously hidden documents and ensured that consent form PDFs are now accessible for review and download.

E2E Testing Improvements

Expanded end-to-end test coverage for Virtual workflows including paperwork, medical history management, and participant options—boosting confidence in virtual care flows.

Updates to Patient Record and Employee Workflows

Resolved errors in patient record creation, employee license handling, and demo visit creation. Introduced user-friendly details like “no condition” labels in clinical notes.

Backend and RCM Enhancements

Improved the payment infrastructure with credit card support and improved insurance eligibility logic for better front-end/back-end alignment in RCM processes.

UI/UX Fixes

Ensured consistency across the platform by adding missing screen titles and restoring expected interface elements during in-person screening steps.
