Customizing Ottehr Authentication

Ottehr starts with two forms of authentication.

• The patient website uses SMS authentication. Users can enter their phone number and will receive a code that they use to authenticate.

• The staff website uses email and password authentication. Users sign in with an email and a password.

These authentication methods can be changed. Oystehr supports SMS authentication, email and password authentication, and Single Sign-On authentication (SSO).
