Setting up Messaging for Ottehr
This documentation is designed for users who have successfully set up Ottehr. For more information please refer to the introduction.
Ottehr sends SMS text messages to patients with information about appointments including:
- A message sent when an appointment is scheduled
- A message sent when an appointment is canceled
- Appointment reminder messages
When patients reply to the messages they receive, providers can view them and respond on the tracking board in a chat room-like interface.
To get messaging enabled for your Oystehr Project, please send an email to [email protected] with the subject line, "Set up messaging". We will let you know when Messaging is enabled for your Project, and it will begin working without any configuration changes needed in Ottehr.
