Configuration

The Oystehr eRx service has two main pieces of configuration: project-level configuration, and configuration for individual providers.

Each Oystehr project has its own project-level configuration that cannot be shared with other projects. This represents your project's link to upstream ePrescribing services.

Each provider also has their own per-project configuration. This is used to link the provider to the project-level configuration, and to provide any additional information that may be required by the ePrescribing service. The first time a provider authenticates with the eRx service, they will be prompted to confirm their account and verify their identity. This is a one-time process.
