Customizing schedules

Ottehr scheduling supports customization for the hours and availability of locations, providers, and groups.

Example schedule

Here is an example location. The location is open from 8AM-3PM on Tuesdays. The capacity starts at 2 appointments an hour, gradually goes to 4 appointments an hour, and then goes back to 2 appointments per hour. In the Schedule Overrides section the office has special hours on New Years and is closed the first week of Spring:

The same level of customization is available for providers.

Group Schedules

Group schedules allow users to combine the availability of locations and providers. This means you can provide patients appointment options based on the availability of locations and providers. For example, if one provider has two appointments available at 9am every morning, and another provider has two appointments available at 9am every morning, a combined group of the two providers will have four slots available at 9am every morning.
